A Google search reveals:

Quote:
New Marina opens in Western Cuba

Pinar del Río, Cuba, Jun 22 (PL) New Marina Gaviota Los Morros de Piedra began operations in the western tip of Cuba, supplying with food and fuel the boats that navigate through that remote zone.

Bathed by Caribbean waters and those of the Gulf of Mexico, the Guanahacabibes Peninsula gives shelter to ships of several continents in their passage through the region, known for the conservation of its landscape and the beauty of its sea beds.

The marina, located about 300 kilometers West of Havana, has facilities destined to medical assistance, an heliodrome and rent-a-car service.

The project includes eight cabin lodges to accommodate sailors after long cruises and visitors after the charms of prehistoric plains (more than 15 virgin beaches) and zones for the immersion where corals abound.

Together with Gaviota Los Morros de Piedra, in the island are working another 11 marinas, two in the Cuban capital, three in the Varadero beach resort and the rest in the central and eastern regions of the archipelago.

Only one kilometer away, The Tombs (Las Tumbas) greets the visitor with one of the best conserved dunes of the island´s geography, together with ancient anchors, cannons and other vestiges of the frequent arrival of pirates and corsairs to the Western end of the nation.

Parts of the coastline still conserve the names of historical celebrities who buried treasures and left polemic stories behind about their exploits at sea.

Another attraction of the faraway place is the International Diving Center Maria la Gorda (with over 50 rooms), ideal for contemplating natural treasures in the bottom of the sea.

Are you still looking for information? Los Morros is a it run down because of a previous hurricane. It is an excellent place to wait for a window to do the Cape. Winds less than 20 and north of east. Next destination would be Maria La Gorda.
