Hi All

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of an Arco hutton 35st winch. I have to repair mine but would like to know exactly how it looks inside before I start collecting spare parts

Cheers

Rob

These are the folks you might get in touch with http://www.arco-winches.com/

You could just take yours apart, too, you know

I have already contacted them but as yet no reply. And I always like to know what I am disassembling when possible Red. That way I know what my spare bits should have been doing

Cheers

I hope you get your reply soon. If they're anything like our winches, they'll be easy to deal with. We've got Barient winches. 14 in all from a tiny one (#8...or maybe #10) numerous 24's, a couple 30's and a couple 32's. We've taken most of them apart, made mods to them so they can be taken apart "in place" rather than having to have access to the area under the winch mount (that never made sense to me!) and re-installed them. Arco is the company that has parts for our winches. I've been in touch with them myself in the past and they've been very helpful.

Be very careful with arco /hutton / Australian winch co ,winches as the retaining pin that holds the shaft down on the planet gears can dislodge

This completely ruined our arco /hutton winch and AWC Hutton was not willing to covered by warantee although it is Arco / Hutton/ Australian winch

Company that set the shaft in place. I simply bolted the winch down.If you set the roll pins in there grove and then turn the winch shaft backwards when the winch

has the drum off. This will also dislodge the shaft. This product was 2 years old.The other winches are Barriant and 22years old . Still going strong.

may need a spot of silicon on the pin to stop it moving.
