Hi all.

My name is David Ware. I spent many years running sailboats all over the Western Hemesphere and in the sail and canvas business. I now live in Costa Rica and own the only sail and canvas business in Central America South of Honduras.

I sail out of the Costa Rican Pacific port of Puntarenas and have added some info to the country log for Costa Rica, I hope to continue to add to the site as have only just stumbled upon it.

Allways happy to chat and share experiences and info.

Cheers

David

Hola David!
I know this thread is from some 3 years ago, but if you get this message, I'd love some info/advice on joining a ship from CR to USA.
We currently live on the Nicoya Peninsula of CR, but my partner and I are hoping to sail back to the USA (our home country) some time this year.
We don't have too much experience sailing (very minimal, actually). But we're hoping to contribute however we can (including $$ of course)... I'm a great cook, and we're both very quick, motivated, and enthusiastic learners, if the opportunity presents itself!
If you have any advice, we'd be so grateful!
~Sara
