Hello, could you be a little more specific? I see you have a 100ft Motor yacht - what is your working draft? You specifically mention Ghana as an area to cruise, In terms of an anchorage the only one that would be recommended, would be that of TEMA harbour situated at 5º36'North x 0º Greenwich, Diesel is available (but needs fitering) - however Robbery is common place of ships in the harbour. As far as electronic charts are concerned - much better to rely on British Admiralty charts:-

BA 1380 - Ports & Anchorages Ghana, Togo & Benin
BA 3102 - Takoradi and Secondi Bays
The very best anchorage is at ADA in the Volta River Estuary. I used to cross the river bar into the Atlantic breakers every weekend for a year, in a Bertram 42 - 2 engines each of 500hp. If you anchor out beyond the breakers it is possible to follow local fishermen into the river provided your tender has a reliable powerful engine.
