Question Belize 43 survey

Hi guys I am having a FP Belize 43 surveyed very shortly and wanted to ask in your collective opinions what things in particular should we look out for.
I understand that all models have their unique quirks and problems so maybe some current or past Belize 43 owners might care to advise from their experience of ownership.
Kind regards
Wayne

Hello I have been a owner of a Belize since 2004and I would not trade it for any other cat. T he only thing I can tell you to look for is a leaky sliding glass door it is installed on the inside and it depends on the calking and alignment of two drain holes in the slider that drains though the two holes in the face of the threshold.
Look below the slider you will see them. It can be fixed I removed the door recalled and aligned and used calking lining the hole not that hard to test it close door and run water on door spray like rain
You will enjoy your new cat I love mine

Default Leaking door

Thanks Capt B
Yes I have the same problem with the leaking door which I intend to address in the near future. Glad to hear that it is a relatively easy fix.
I also am very happy with my choice of the Belize and will move aboard permanently next year.
I intend to add a hardtop bimini as one of the first jobs.
Happy sailing
Wayne

Default Belize 43 leaking door

Has anyone got photographs showing how they fixed their leaky Fountaine Pajot sliding door?

Default Belize salon door

Sorry I do not have them as I have not yet repaired mine so I also would like to see any photos of this repair as I will need to do this shortly.
