You're attempting to do so at the wrong time of year. Nobody's going to be sailing into the South Pacific at the start of cyclone season.

Thank you for answering.

I heard that it was not the best moment.. And now with the climate change, we never know

More seriously, i don t know anything about this world, that s why i want to do it. But i had a look on your link and for example, for the roaring forties route, the best time seems to be in march or april…and my deadline is may. Anyway wikipedia is wikipedia, i would trust more a sailor than internet.
I ve already tried in the ports or marinas etc but would you have any connections or contact for me ??

I ve been travelling for a while now, and i know that everything is possible

Thank you for your time

If you were prepared to leave it until April or May next year, head for Opua or Whangarei and look for a boat heading into the tropics from there.

Most would be making the trip to the southern parts of Tonga around that time. Only a very few would be making the trip all of the way across the Pacific to South America.

The roaring forties route is very rarely travelled. I know of precisely 3 boats that did it this year -- myself from Lyttelton and 2 others from Opua. It would be extremely unlikely that you will find a boat travelling that route who would be willing to take on crew with limited experience -- most would be looking for veteran crews for that route.
