Default A higher power...

We've been a bit staggered by the positive response to Mico's website but wondered if we also needed to call upon a higher power to find her a new owner.

With this in mind we took her out on Wednesday to view the solar eclipse :

Default What's wrong with her head?

We've had some consistently strange emails in response to our solar eclipse voyage youtube vid.

They have nothing to do with the yacht or the solar eclipse or the animation but are asking if there something wrong with my wife's head?

I've never really noticed before but now they point it out - she's wobbling it around from side to side like a Stevie Wonder on acid

So I asked her what was going on and bless her little cotton socks, this was her response.

I know we had official solar eclipse sunglasses but just to be sure, I figured that if I moved my head from side to side real quick with my eyes shut and only opened them each time quickly as I did, I'd be safe'

I'm not sure about that theory but I do know that her staff are now saying she's a real Wonder at the office!

Fair winds,

Mico

The best way to view future solar eclipses, is to use your sextant with all the filters across.
It works well and shows you who the other old salts are in the marina or anchorage.
Cheers.

Now that a good idea Auzzee, I'll endevour to do that next time we have a solar eclipse although I may have just a wee bit of difficulty in adjusting the filters on my sextant.

Our next solar eclipse is in 200 yrs!

Really? I wonder what all this is about then!
Solar Eclipse Calendar for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Perhaps we exist in a parallel universe where some things just don't quite add up.
Thspooky!

Which pute me in mind of a series of books by David Gemmell. The Jerusalem Man. 2 suns, and multiple parallels. Good read.

Well - In Cairns we've got a pretty long wait for an eclipse like we've just had - but mind you, living up here in the tropics under a new LNP government is remarkably like living in a parallel universe so you may have a point there
