Thumbs down

Countries around the world are fast changing existing regulations or activating new regulations regarding Advance Notice of Arrival (ANOA) for yachts. These regulations are currently being applied with little notice so it is imperative that there be a central database that is constantly updated for cruisers to refer to.

Our ANOA Wiki page is an ideal means to update this information constantly, by cruisers "out there" and all who have relevant information. Please post and edit the information there. Supply as much information as possible.

Or, post the latest information in this thread and I will update the Wiki page.

Hi guys. I was just checking (over the weekend) just this type of thing.

Wondering what was required by countries to let me enter and the COSTS.

When I make the jump, I would like to go to New Caledonia, Vanauta, Solomons, New Guinnea and Fed States of Micronesia and just keep going around. Don't know if this is even possible but its on the wish list.

Anyway I looked at Micronesia and found it only cost $25 to enter (very suprised) oh dam American dollars, so its going to be a little more on the aussie dollar, no worries but reading on over the day there seems to be four different regions to FSM.

Soooo do I need to pay four lots of entry fees, do I need to pay per person on the boat or is it a fee per boat. Does anyone know.

Also reading the required forms for entry it seems each person needs a Police Check from your resident country that is not older than six months (are they real) are there other countries wanting this.

Anyway I'm abit off track, I was just thinking that if your going to post ANOA info could we get the true costs of entry as well.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi John,

Good site for general information (especially for US citizens) - I suppose it is deficient regards information specific to cruising yachts, their passengers and crews - this is the information we intend building upon in our Cruising Log Wiki.

Thank you.

Richard
