Default AIS on Navionics Boating App?!

Did ya'll see that AIS is available through the Navionics app now?! https://navionics.com/usa/features/ais

This is a feature that was historically only available to pretty high end equipment. I could definitely see this being a huge help in low vis areas. Has anyone tried this yet?

That's good news. I have a small modem which is probably legally insufficient for many of the places the average cruising boat gets to these days. Oddly enough, after a couple of weeks cruising the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver Island, I wasn't even aware of AIS broadcasts from much else than the BC ferries.
