I am wondering if anyone have experience with Analytic 10 steel yacht.

And what do you think about it based on its description?

The provided link makes the following statement :-

"The design will be available for constructors after a prototype has been made and certificates obtained"

Makes it a little difficult to comment, since it appears that experience of this design is still at the imagination stage. The only part that of the project that has seen the light of day was the Yanmar D27 ( a 35Hp diesel outboard) Unfortunately Yanmar decided not to continue with this model - it would have found a valuable place in the catamaran market.

There ARE plans on the web site. Maybe not exactly enough to build it (I cannot judge it, however it seems easy to put it in freeship and obtain a lot of information including plate development and hydrostatics), but certainly a base on comment on the keeling, rigging, internal design, etc.

Actually i can shed some light on this. the OB in question was discontinued because it did not have a repair history. Yanmar sold very few of them over the years they where on the market. but did not tend to have the repeat business they expected.

questioning the VP of Yan mar a bit more came up with the factoid that the clients that bought the motor did not buy another as replacements they instead bought parts to repair the motors so yanmar was loseing money.

Somewhere, there is evidence that the US manufacturers of Outboards decided that Yanmar's 27D was a threat for which they had no answer. Already gasoline powered engines from Japan were taking the lion's share. A number of well known American models are now being made in China.
