She is a very talented young lady (fellow UCSB sailor). I believe she is now in Nuka Hiva...about 8 weeks behind the rest of the group making the crossing this year.

Good post - perhaps we should think about a separate forum, especially for ones like this.

I agree with MMNETSEA's suggestion about a separate forum to record links to favourite sailing blogs we have discovered.

If it was set up, perhaps there could be a small introduction anchored at the top, asking people to give:
  • a hotlink to the blog,
  • a sentence or two on what the blog is about.
  • a sentence or two on what makes the blog interesting to you.
  • if the blog has lead to interesting side-discussion, a link to that.

I really love her blog because its NOT all about just sailing/cruising. She's focused on surfing--so sailing is just the great way for her to achieve her non-sailing/cruising related goals. I think I'll start a sep. post on that topic...
