Hi All

Can I get some opinions on Bellingham charts for charts.

I am just about to order a couple of different folios of 2/3 size charts

Can I get some opinions on their service and the 2/3 charts please.

Cheers

P.S. I am asking because I have paid plenty of idiot tax in the past by not asking!

Hi there,

We've purchased some of their 2/3 size charts (secondhand) from another cruiser who was leaving the cruising grounds we're entering. They're fine charts but they are black and white. Thus, most folks will go through with a highlighter and mark appropriate fathom lines so they will not end up "oops!" in the wrong place. Ours were already nicely highlighted by the other cruiser and danger zones nicely highlighted too!

Paper charts are nice and if you're on a budget, this is one way to get them and with a little work ahead of time while you're route planning, you'll have everything highlighted to satisfaction anyway. If budget isn't a worry, I'd suggest going for the regular charts with multi-color, though. JMHO.
