Default Christmas greetings from the reef

Warm Christmas greetings to our all Cruiserlog friends and a big thank you for letting us share your adventures - albeit vicariously of late.

Contrary to popular belief we're still keeping our feet wet after sadly losing our ketch Australis returning from Indonesia almost two years to the day, plus having just spent the last 18 months - land locked designing and building the new house here in the Wet Tropics of Far North Queensland.

With the house almost finished, its time to start looking seaward again and there are a few blue water cruisers in the sights, so watch this space

In the meantime I flew my daughter over for Christmas and a week of sailing on the reef in our Hartley 21. I had become a little concerned she had gone a bit girlie on me after a childhood of sailing with her dad.

I needn't have worried...

Oh, for the simple life!
Happy new year to you and all the family.
Here (on the east coast of the USA), there is the boat and the bike and, despite the recent elections, life goes on in an adventurous way.
Best wishes.

Hey Mico, long time no vidi. Glad to hear you're still enjoying the occasional outing on the water. Toot cuts along nicely, doesn't she.
