I have a Downeast 32 that we've cruised across the Pacific on. We've put together a website with all of our letters to home:

Feel free to ask me any specific questions (through here or the website). It's been a wonderful cruising boat for us. I've asked myself many times if I could've gotten a better boat for the money. The answer is always "we made the right choice".

I am not sure I am posting properly but here goes.

I would like to hear about the Downeast Cuttter. What are the negatives as well as the positives? Boat owners, of course, like their boats and sometimes are prejudiced. The Downeast looks to be an awesome boat, but it is always helpful to hear both sides of an issue. Thank you.
