Auzzee - Absolutely! I only recently joined, and it wasn't only to promote the blog.

Very amusing blog post, I just sprayed wet muesli all over my screen.

Don't forget the wiki, too. A lot of the USA especially the parts you're coming from and sailing to -- East Coast, down to the Caribbean, are really lagging behind for information in the wiki. Any contributions will be gladly received.

We really need a page in the wiki about holding tanks. Then again, on second thoughts, we really don't. :P

On a related subject, 'Getting Rid of Boat Odors' by Peggy Hall is a must have...even if 80% of the English speaking world knows how to spell odour.

I have a flexible holding tank inside a lazarette, that's been known to pong a bit. A couple of vanilla beans purchased in French Polynesia, dropped in the lazarette alongside the holding tank, work marvellously.

deltatbabel - Wiki? Where is the wiki? The vanilla bean idea is a good one, I think. Beats the hell out of an air freshener!

Also, sorry about the mess on your screen!
