I realize this isn't really the place to list a boat, but...

The woman who lost her husband in yesterday's tsunami just wants to go home to her family and is hoping to sell the boat without delay.

The vessel is a 1984 Freedom 39 Pilothouse Schooner and I can assure you the boat is well equiped, in turn-key condition, sitting un-dammaged in Pago Pago and stands ready to continue. There is a sister-ship currently listed at www.yachtworld.com at $99K. The owner said she doesn't want market value... she just wants to take her husband home and get over this terrible ordeal. (SEE HERE)

If anyone reading this is ready to go cruising... instead of just reading about it - now would be a good time to do both yourself and a sailor in need a big favor. There are two weekly non-stop flights from Honolulu and the prime cruising grounds of Tonga, Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, New Zealand & Australia are all nearby and within easy reach.

On behalf of the owner - please feel free to contact me directly for more details and I will reply immediately.

Thanks.

Hi Kirk.

Sorry to read the above. Myself and my partner Kim have being looking for a sea home for some time. Could you email me the details of this boat and as we would be interested in continuing the journey of this Schooner around the Pacific and towards New Zealand.

Regards Mike Reehal and Kim Winters
