Lost sea containers

We completed the Wirth Monroe race on Friday in big seas and high winds off the Florida coast. How big, how high? Big enough to cause this little mishap:

The latest on that one is that thousands of 1 lb. cans of Cafe Bustelo coffee are washing up on the beaches. That's just 600 miles north of us.

Holy crap! 25 containers is no joke. Hopefully nothing toxic or dangerous in that cargo.

Having a steel hull under me drastically reduces my worries about hitting a steel container.
Maybe if I drank that much coffee , I'd be so wired, that I would worry anyway.
