Default Marathon At&T low Wire in BOOT KEY HARBOR

Hello All,
Does anyone happen to know the name of the boat with the 70'+ mast that hit the wire in Boot Key Harbor. It was a Catamaran with 6 teenagers aboard . They were headed to a St. Patricks Regatta somewhere in the keys.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
And I will buy you several cocktails !!!!
Thank you for any help
TOM

Hi, Tom! Good to hear from you.

I sure wish I knew the name of the boat. I've done a few searches, as I figure you have, too, and can't find anything except the original report and no name of the boat. But what were they thinking, if their mast was 70' or more? The charts clearly indicate that the power lines provide 65' clearance, nothing more! And that's after they've been fixed and are no longer sagging across the channel.

Enjoying the keys? We're up in Crystal River, won't get south of St. Pete before tucking 'Melon away for the hurricane season and heading back north.

You should be heading north pretty soon, eh?
