I LOVE to eat crabs! One of the resorts nearby does an All-You-Can-Eat dungenes crab fest twice a week - Yum!

My wife & Aye added a two inch slab of memory foam on top of our existing five inch foam matress and now it feels as if we're sleeping on a cloud.

We rounded the corners at the foot to match the shape of our bed frame and re-stitched the zippered cotton cover (which came with it) and we are very happy with the additional comfort.

When we opened the packing, it took about two days for the foam to fully expand and the vapors were a bit noxous when it first came out of the bag.

Other than that - we are happy campers.

We discovered our favorite crabs five years ago in Malaysia - Pepper Crabs. Makes my fore-head break into a sweat just thinking about 'em!

Enjoy,

Kirk

Hi Geoff, from Darwin the muddie capital of the WORLD! I have no experience with memory foam, but I recently had my aft cab mattress replaced. I went with the old fashioned Dunlopillo which we all thought was junk when we were kids....But it is wonderful and just as good as an innerspring. And...I had no trouble in contorting it to get it through the companionway, past the engine room, through the tiny doorway and into the cabin. David.

I have nerve damage in my back resulting in constant pain and bad pain with any pressure to the area. I've tried everything - double layer of that egg crate foam worked well, and then I found memory foam.

I have a 1" topping to the foam on the bunk, and it is so good that I am thinking of adding more. The 1" is better than the double layers of egg crate. I get an extra two hours sleep using the memory foam - 6 hours, up from 4.

I had heard that the memory foam would absorb too much moisture, but haven't found that to be true so far.

Yup, Malaysia pepper crabs are fantastic. but how we love blue crabs! All recipes filed and tried!
