New Winlink 2000 WINMOR RMS on Mauritius

Hi All,

Finally, there is a new Winlink 2000 RMS (Radio Message Server) on the island of Mauritius in the South Indian Ocean.
This will close the previous HF Radio communications gap that so many sailors experienced in the Middle of the Indian Ocean.
The server only runs WINMOR (RMS Express) at the moment, but Pactor is a possibility in the near future.

There are also many more Winlink 2000 servers in Southern Africa.
All these stations will show up on your RMS Express channel list.
These land stations are set up by volunteer Ham Radio operators friendly to sailors.

Click on Pactor, then WINMOR.
