We're heading off to Europe for several weeks. Mostly we will be land based (Not sure how a visit to the Titanic Museum in Belfast qualifies), but we will be spending some time on the water in mainland Europe. Specifically, we have chartered a canal barge in Germany to see if we want to spend a year doing a similar thing at some point in the future.
We will be back in the USA in time to head north to the Pacific Northwest while the weather is still warm to once again spend some time in the San Juans, and we would like to continue our marine adventures in Desolation Sound.
I'm permitted to work in the US these days and have an ongoing recording project with some heavy hitters in Nashville, and need to get back for that also. It seems that retirement really means 'work harder than ever, but enjoy, rather than tolerate it.
Best wishes all...
