I have found these charts to be a very big aid in cruising, particularly when there are no cruising guides available. I used them last year in our cruise through the Baltic, and this year found them to be a greater assistance in exploring the Atlantic Ocean side of Long Island than anything else I was able to find in print.

They are huge, hundreds of pages, and thus printing them out is not necessarily practical. The index helps, with nav. charts, in scoping out places you might want to stop and anchor. They're full of surprises.
