Default Electrician/Mechanic/Skipper

I am doing a refit of a boat in Vanuatu and need to find someone who is able to do a full electrical refit (nav gear, lighting, nav lights, generator, solar, instruments etc) mechanical work (need to put back together a couple of diesel engines. (they were running but have been stripped down to replace heat exchangers etc)), sanitary plumbing refit and as well as project managing local labour for general labour work and carpentry.

About 6 months work.

Anyone fancy a holiday in paradise. IF you don't mind camping on a project boat, you can stay onboard.

Just to clarify, this is a PAID position, not just a holiday in paradise aboard a project boat.

Pay negotiable based on experience. Please email/message me.

Did you receive a reply from me to your PM? There are no messages showing in my sent folder.

Support the locals? What the heck are you talking about here. Do you even know where the yacht is situated? I cretainly can't see where you are from your profile.

The yacht is called Scope, formerly Raj and over 600 kg of cocaine was discovered on it earlier this year. It is on a swing mooring in Pontoon Bay, Efate, Vanuatu. I am unable to give the lat and long but I can see it whenever I drive to work. To my understanding it is registered in Vanuatu and intends to charter here.

There's nothing in the original post to indicate this is the yacht, and nothing in your profile to indicate you're in Vanuatu.

In any case, if you want the work PM the guy.

God save us from the internet police. I had previously PM'd Chaos and he has chosen not to reply for reasons that may become abundantly clear next week. When I said "we" can perform the work locally I meant "we" as in the Vanuatu marine industry. But feel free to judge us based on your agenda.
