Default Phuket to Langkawi late March '12'

Looking for 1 crew to help me take Pollen Path - 40ft ketch- back down to Langkawi from Phuket. Must be experienced crew please.

I'm planning on taking about 10 days to 2 weeks and going via the Butang Islands.

Hi, Mike,

What is your own sailing experience and the condition of the boat, sails, etc. How long since it was last sailed on anything other than a day sail?

Thanks for the additional info for our members.

Hey...

Yeah, a bit more information would be interesting.

I'll be in Koh Chang in the Adaman sea from the 15th of feb. and for a long time.

I've down my Costal Skippers ticket. Did that in Yacht Haven Phuket in Jan / March last year ( 2011). I bought Pollen Path in May but didn't get to live on her until September. I normally keep the boat in Langkawi. January this year I sailed her up to YH Phuket to get some rewiring done so I've done a little more than ' day sailing' but not much. Now in March I'm heading back down to Rebak and looking for crew

It sounds like you're well on your way to being ready for some cruising. Hopefully you'll find good crew to help you here.

Fair winds,

Hey,

Are you looking for an experienced first mate, or a regular deckhand?

I'm more of the second part. I've got a basic experience, but quite know my job as a deckhand. I've been out at sea for over 5000 nm, learned from an oldschool captain on his 72ft ketch, I can handle watches, sails work, cooking and life onboard, and even work on some repairs (fiberglass, painting, wood work...)

Let me know with a PM if we should get to know each other any further.

In the meantime, have a very nice day!
