Sailor/Engineer Type plus 1 crew member needed for Myers 35 blue water performance sailing catamaran now in Panama headed for Chile & then for the S. Pacific 5/1/14 with a total of 3 people aboard. Owner/Capt is 68 year old semi-retired CPA and former ASA Certified Sailing Instructor & USCG Lic Capt. Sailor/Engineer position is permanent so short timers need not apply. Owner pays for all consumables and custom fees. Experience in all types of marine repairs and maintenance a requirement. Additional crew member pays 1/3 of food, fuel and customs fees; short timers are ok. Also you need to adjust your post to fit with the board guidelines. Asking a crew member to pay for 1/3 of food is OK, but not fuel or customs fees (customs fees for importing a yacht into some countries is very expensive, you could be asking your crew to part with tens of thousands of dollars). If you're insistent on asking crew to pay a share of customs fees then the post will have to be removed from this board.
