CREW VACANCY NOW FILLED! 14/03/11 - No more emails please.
Hi,
We are a French family with 2 kids (2,8) living in San Diego, speaking English and about to do a sailing trip in French Polynesia.
I'm looking crew members, not necessarily with a lot of sailing experience, but responsible and reliable enough so that I feel my family is in good hand when I go to sleep.
The boat is a well equipped and in excellent condition 1999 Dufour 50. It has proved to be an excellent seaworthy sailboat on its way from France to US west coast. 2 double cabins, 1 head and 1 shower room located at the rear are for guests. We'll be living in the front part.
We will leave San Diego on June 4th 2011 and I expect the passage to French Polynesia (Nuku Hiva) to take about 3 weeks. Then, it's possible to re-use our boat again to go to Tuamotus (departure around july 15 from Marquesas) and Society Islands (departure around August 1 from Tuamotus) but no guarantee. We will not go to Tahiti where is the only international hub.
A valid passport is necessary, you'll get a 3 months tourist visa. No smoke, no drug, no alcohol and no weapon please.
I'm not asking for any money and I won't give any either, including return flight tickets. I see this ad as an exchange: you help me and I give you a free travel to one of the most beautiful place in the world.
We can accept up to 2 persons with up to 1 child. If you're interested in, please send me an email at
