Short notice crew position available

Two sailors looking for a third to take a share of the watches, cooking, fishing, and glory of a 1 to 2 month lazy cruise from Pensacola, FL to the USVI. Exact route and timing is open to modification as weather and preferences dictate. However, the basic plan is to depart Pensacola between 5th and 15th of June and arrive in USVI precicely one day before we get tired or run out of money.

Boat is a late 90's 37' Hunter, well rigged with roller furling, jiffy reefed main, and all lines running into cockpit. Good electronics, auto helm, redundant GPS/chartplotter systems. Dedicated berths for three crew but not much privacy. The head does have a door...

All boat expenses carried by us, of course. All personal expenses including food, personal visas, AIRFARE HOME, etc. are to be carried by you.

As is all too often the case, an unforeseen and unavoidable life event has postponed our glorious adventure. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not living in one big "Truman Show." At any rate, as any realistic new departure date will shift our float plan well into hurricane season, it is now unlikely that the trip will occur before Fall. So, thank you for your interest. I will keep the contact info of any responders and, hopefully, we'll get our act together and get out of here someday.
