A bit whimsical maybe but, do you think that the oceans could be trying to help sort this problem out by concentrating it.

Scale is absolutely enormous, of course and we'd need a completely new "trawling industry" targetting the plentiful but otherwise (almost) useless larger items of rubbish plus some floating recycling mother vessels but ....

.... if we can walk on the moon, surely not totally beyond the wit of man?
