Thumbs up

I have put together a powerpoint on internet pages of interest to boaters. I would love some feedback. In particular are there any critical or interesting pages that I have missed?

Full disclosure - this is hosted at my business web site but I am not selling anything maritime.

The link is http://www.rjjconsulting.com/Sailing/SailingStart.htm

Then click on the "Marine Internet" link in the lower left hand corner.

Thanks in advance - you can comment here or email me - my email address is all over the site.

I don't have Powerpoint so I cannot see it - no comment from me.

Thanks, I will check how to package it so you don't need a Powerpoint reader.

Hello Roger,

Maybe missed the reason for the request :-

Why do you need editorial help ? As a consultant on sailing etc.. Probably our member's editing may not need your needs.

I don't consult on sailing. I sail as a hobby and work part time at a West Marine store. I am semi-retired, I do Information Technology consulting since this is what I did full time for 40 years and work at WM so I can talk about boats and sailing. I have been asked to do a presentation on using the Internet to enhance one's boating experience as a favor for a friend. I thought that getting fresh eyes to look at it before I do the presentation might keep me from making some major goof or leaving some really cool idea out of the presentation.

I have a page that might be of interest:

http://www3.telus.net/jackdale/links.htm

BTW - when posting a PowerPoint to the web, post it as a PowerPoint Show. I think you tried that but it still has a .ppt extension.

Thanks, I like that page. I am still working on the final posting, I think I have found a way to make it work much better. I will go there tomorrow night.
