As a Moderator on Cruiser Log, "Harbor_Pilot", seemed to fit nicely.

HARBOR PILOT: A harbour pilot guides ships through the narrow, shallow and dangerous coastal waters between a harbour and the open sea.

That requires multiple licenses, years of service, and extensive experiance, which I do not have, and am not, or claim to be. Still, my screen name, fit my duties and responsibilites required here.

I am here to guide members, and invite guests, while upholding the board rules, in the best way I can.

I would like to know how or why you choose your screen name. We have such a vast variety; many which I presume have an underlying meaning or reason.

Harbor_Pilot

Or Simply,

Jeff

Boat name and LOA. The real story is how the boat got it's name.

Boat name. Simple as that!

My boat already had her name when I bought her, and a good name at that. I saw no reason to change anything.

Aye

And I thought your screen name was describing your physical condition!

Had no choice in the matter - just wish that my parents had come up with something a bit more dashing or left me enough money to buy a nice boat with a smart name!

Hi KiwiAussie,

The good thing about claiming allegience to both countries is that no matter what the outcome, you can always claim your mob won in the cricket, RU, RL and Netty.....Good ploy!

David.
