We are looking at schooners and like the lines of the Malabar class from the 1920's to 30's with gaff rigging. any thoughts? Speed is not the issue but the ability to be stable and with stand what can be reasonably expected to have to deal with while cruising. We realize that at 8' of draft there are places we will not be able to go due to depth issues but are okay with that. Brenda is Mahdee of similar lines to the Malabar class schooner?
