How to upload images into Albums

Take a wander through our photo amazing member photos! Members may set up Photo albums in their profile and then upload images. Albums can be associated with one of our per-existing categories to help others locate images.

To set up a photo album:

Click on your user cp (upper nav bar)

Look for Pictures & Albums in the left side menu.
> Add album

Once you have set up your album, click on the album to open it and then add images. Once uploaded you can edit images as needed, move them between albums and even set privacy levels.

Be sure to include a brief description of your photo. The description is searchable so if you're uploading a pic of a location of specific boat, please include that info

To view other members albums you can click on "community" on the upper nav bar and then select "pictures and Albums"

Albums that are associated with one of the pre-existing categories will have contained images display in the rotation at the top of the page. You can edit your album to change it's category at any time.

Please note that Albums associated with the WIKI and People Categories will not display in the random rotation.

For some reason, I never get the option to upload photos to my album after I created it....

Any idea of why?

Click on the album you have created to open it. You should see links to upload.

Are you able to upload to the mexico album you have set up? I think the problem is that there is a 100 pic limit for one album and you have more than that in the pirates album.

We migrated these images from the old site which is how you got them all in one album. You can edit pics to move to a new album and you should be able to set up more albums as needed, but won;t be able to upload to an album that is full.

Negative...it won't let me add photo or edit photos in either album. I guess it just doesn't like my photography. ;-)

Nope...multiple systems, laptop running XP and desk machine running System 7.

And if that doesn't rectify the problem, turn it off, then on again.
Finally there is what we in the business call the 'Technical Tap'; usually delivered to the top right hand side of the recalcitrant item.

Yes, I get the highlighted links...but never any links after that for uploading pictures.

I am able to edit photos now, which I wasn't able to do before...so something has changed.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the number of photos that I already have up. Bob gave me a very high limit...now I'm sure they are choking the system.
