Hauling Out In Malaysia

Good Day Everyone,

I need to haul out in the next few months as my hull could now be confused for a coral reef. This time I have decided to go Coppercoat, although expensive it will pay for itself quickly. Touted to last 10 years, in tropical waters I'll be happy to get 7.

Raffles Marina in Singapore is expensive but does a good job and has experience with Coppercoat.

I'm currently checking with Rebak in Langkawi, Batu Maung in Penang and Borneo Yacht services in Labuan.

Would anyone have had any good or bad experience with the above? Any tips on any other yards in Malaysia are very welcome.

Hi Francis,

I would suggest Rebak as the least expensive and easiest place to do your own work



I have good friends who are lifted out at this very time doing an important job on the Sail Drive.
