Just got back from ten days of sailing, sleeping, eating and a fair excess of drinking. Tomorrow is work and I really am unmotivated to attend.
Had an absolutely magnificent day sail from Lake Macquarie up to Newcastle in NSW for lunch and a beer or two. Annette as usual spennt the first hour sleeping through her nausea. We had a great reach all the way, averaging 7 knots. Caught a few good Spanish Mackerels so that was tea covered. The boat as always performed faultlessly. But now the return to business beckons , as does the beginning of preparations to make sure the boat is ready for Vanuatu next year. I would love to hear from other that may have laid their boat up in Vanuatu or in that vicinity as we are thinking of skipping in and out as time, business and the new grandchild's arrival at Xmas will allow.
