Default Aloha!

I am fairly new to posting on forums as it requires sitting in front of a computer which is something I usually hate to do. We are currently wintering in Honolulu waiting for spring to arrive so I have some time to kill before we head out again.

My husband bought our boat in 1990 and has been living aboard since. I moved aboard in 1996 and have never looked back. We have been full time cruisers for the last 5 years.

Looking forward to reading and participating in the forums.

Welcome aboard Lealea. Glad to see you. I have been following the adventures on your site and youtube for months.

They have been enjoyable.

I have not been a member for long myself but have been visiting this site for many months and find it full of good information.

I hope you find it valuable also.

...a path to walk we all have..

Welcome aboard, Lealea!

We're so glad you joined our Cruiserlog community. David and I have watched numerous of your YouTube videos (HI to WA and WA to SFB. We haven't gotten to the CA to HI series yet!) and we're really looking forward to your next adventures. We have pointed numerous cruiser-wanna-be's to your free Youtube videos since you do such a great job of well...just cruising. That is sharing the day-to-day cruising without getting all "tourist guide" or strangely professional about it all. We love it. It brings a little view of our own life to other people who haven't been on a boat before. Again, thanks for that.

We're glad that you're sitting in port and can spend a little time with us here! Please peruse the forums. Please contribute where you can and ask questions where we've piqued your interest.

Also--JPPonders--welcome to the CL community! Please feel free to start your own thread and tell us a bit about your cruising or cruising interests!

Default I like the Vega

I think this is a great boat you're cruising. What decided you on the Vega instead of anything else?
