Hello my name is Colin Pratt. I am 21 and was born and raised in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. Though i love the mountain life and winter also i feel the ocean within me. I was introduced to our wonderful seas at the age of 13 when my father took us sailing in the virgin islands and again when i was 15 to the coast of belize. Even though i was young, something clicked in me that made me appreciate the salty lifestyle immediately. Soon there after (while i was 15) my family somewhat parted ways and i was left to myself.
Within The 2 of 3 following years i was and energetic youth on the loose. I had saved my money well, being the resourceful fellow that i am, and headed out of my small VT town for some real travel. I wandered across the US for months conjuring up glorious plans of the future. I soon after travelled to europe for a brief time. My funds at this point had vanished so with my last $300 i bought a plane ticket to the virgin islands, where work as matinence at a resort for about 6 months. Soon the realization that i was on a small island sunk in so i returned to the mainland to furthur my plans. I now have been in VT for sometime with a short trip to Mexico and Central America last fall. I have planned and saved and now the time has come for some extensive travel and sailing.
