good mornin afternoon evening whichever applies,,,, i am jim 49 year old male been sailing now going on 5 years purchased an irwin 25 '72 model.. best thing i ever bought have really enjoyed it.. it is located on lake eufala in oklahoma were we have an informal regatta each year in may, missed the first year 7th on my first one, 1st on my second one and third last year, slow first day great second day o well. recently had the good fortune of making a blue water passage from key west fl to galveston tx, deffinately different than the lake, to my dismay because of time constraints we did a lot of motor sailing would have like more no motor.. i have been active on my irwin of course ,a hunter 33 ,islander 32, gulfstar 44 , gulfstar 47 "key west to galveston". maintance technician by trade thats all for now oh by thge way my boat is called "what's it matter" i do have fun with that take care all and fair winds

Welcome. Can one take the rivers from Lake Eufala to the Gulf of Mexico? Looks like it would be a great adventure into the US heartland.

racing is fun, isn't it? Lake racing is a bit of a challenge. Master that and you can sail anywhere.
