Default Hello from In The Mood

My wife and I just bought, well actually two months age, an Irwin 37 with the intention of cruising the Canadian Pacific Northwest. So far we've made it to the shipyard and back to replace a dodgy through hull. Winter approaches and we don't know if the cabin heater works and the galley stove needs new thermocouples but we're having fun so far.

Welcome to Cruiser Log. A new boat is always fun. The trick is to get as much as possible done while it remains fun. We've just been cruising around the San Juans and hope to venture further north soon. The one thing we were particularly pleased with was our ability to make heat with a Wabasto marine furnace. On a chilly night, there is simply nothing quite so good.
Keep us updated with your renovations and feel free to ask questions. There is sure to be someone here who will have an answer.
