Hi folks,
May name is Sajad (Saj) and I’ve really enjoyed myself reading through a few of the posts on the forums. As a new comer to sailing it really is educating to hear experts who know the world of sailing. My sailing experience is limited to courses and the odd break from land even though the passion to be on the water is sometimes extreme and during lunch break s (whilst at work) I go and sit in the port of Rome for few minutes before I have to return back to reality. Yes I am one of those weak people that hasn’t cut the cord from life on land.
Last year I complete my day skipper and a few months ago I completed my shorebased RYA/MCA Costal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore. In between I’ve manage a few outings as well as the obligatory to MCA the Radio and the first aid course. Need to start getting out on water a little more to go for the next one which is coastal skipper.
If your based in Rome or thinking of coming to Rome drop me a note. In the mean time I will follow your advice and adventures through cruiserlog forums. Its not the best compromise for being out on the water but if I can go sit at the port during the odd lunch break and then in the evenings follow the forum I guess that will help me get through the day
Only kidding, kind of. I do need to be out on the water as it is building up in my system. Look forward to catching your experiences on the forum.
