Hi all. Just wanted to stop in and say hello.

We have a website that tells all about us, our boat, our recent travels, and our future plans.

http://www.svsoggypaws.com

But briefly, we are 50-something couple enroute around the world. We are currently in Ecuador, and plan to leave for the Galapagos in early January. Our first year in the Pacific, we hope to go the southern route to French Polynesia, stopping in Easter Island, and maybe Pitcairn, and then into the Gambiers. We'll make our way north thru eastern French Polynesia, and end up in Hawaii for the winter.

Hope to meet up with a few of you along the way.

Sherry & Dave

A hearty "welcome aboard" Sherry and Dave - good to have you here with us.

We hope to hear lots more from you as you continue around the world - you will have lots of knowledge to contribute here.

Make yourselves at home - "Redbopeep" is buying the drinks this week.

Oh, how I love Soggy Paws. Great name that will make people smile.

We did what you're planning. In the liferaft section I put some links to our Ecuador logs. On each log is a link back to "Our Logs", which is the index. We, too went to Easter Island, Pitcairn, and the Gambiers. Then to the Australs before deciding we needed to go north for warmer weather, said a regretful farewell to the islanders and headed to Tahiti.

It is amazing to me that AS SOON AS we crossed the Tropic of Capricorn, the sun shone more brightly, the temperature rose high enough that I could shed my sweatshirt, and everything seemed just a bit more comfortable.

You'll love it.

Fair winds,

J
