Well I guess Anya isn't the newest kid on the block anymore.

I'm Rob, I've poked around several of the boards for years and upon discovering this one decided to register in hope of learning more about cruising.

I'm on my what I like to call beginner boat which is a 21 ft sloop that I hope to outgrow in the next couple of years and move up to a boat that we can actually cruise on, at least in the Northwest until we retire.

At this time I have no plans except to Cruise in Canadian and Alaskan waters for a few summers and possibly make my way south to Mexico in the winter. Things may change but that is the plan for now.

Sounds like a plan. Fortunately, this cruising ?fraternity? knows how firm plans are. Written in sand. So worry not, whatever you do as you mess about in boats is a good thing.

Welcome, and join Anya in having a drink (or two, or....) on me.

Welcome aboard!

Your plans echo our own--we plan on heading north to the Pacific NW and Alaska...then come back south

Fair winds,
