Hi All,

Being following this forum for some months, mainly for the information and cruising tips. I now have my own little yacht and can formally join.

Plans are to continue working and get beast (Pelican 27) ready for coastal cruising, leaving Sydney around the end of April and heading nth to the sun, warmth and Whitesundays.

Anyhow Merry Xmas and a happy new year and I look forward to continue obtaining ideas and tips from this site as well as sharing my mistakes, learnings and adventures with those interested.

I need to arrange a pic and words of wisdom over the next few days., until then

Best Wishes

Manni

Welcome aboard, from another Sydneysider.

We should have a Sydney meet-up some time. There are a few of us on here.

Hi Manni,

Welcome, from yet another Sydneysider. Im in the planning stages of cruising and living aboard.

I also get a lot of information from the forums on Cruiser Log. They are a great bunch of people with a wealth of experience.

I look forward to hearing of your cruising experiences.

Hi Delatbabel and Stormy

Good to hear from some locals. Whilst I live at Ramsgate (southern beaches) the boat is still over at Balmoral Beach. Perhaps if we can get a few locals we can have a sail and few drinks on the Australia day long weekend some where around the Harbour, any takers?

Regards

Manni

Count me in if I can get this sodding engine started (I'm suspecting a blockage in the fuel lines from the injector pump to the injectors at this stage).

When and where do we meet?

Aust day on the harbour can be very busy. Best to go out and meet up somewhere on the weekend or Monday before. Anchoring up near Berrys Bay can be quite good, or else over near Athol Bay.

Mannib,

It would of been fantastic to catch up over the Australia Day long weekend. I fly out to the Solomon Islands next Thursday and I will be there for some time.

I hope you guys manage to link up...

Shane
