Just a quick note to introduce myself as a new member. My wife and I are sailors without a boat just now.
We had a lovely 38ft steel cutter called Freelance until a couple of years ago. I built her myself and the two of us sailed her for 15 years before selling her in 2009.
The last two years have been a period of renovation on our house. We've finished that and are now for sale and looking to get back afloat for an extended adventure
in a catamaran, painting, taking photographs and stocking up on inspiration.
I'm looking forward to reading the various forum subjects and hope to be in a position to contribute eventually. Sooner rather than later preferably.
