Hello everybody,

I would like to introduce myself to you all,we live in the north of Norway (Alta) and i am an ex Royal Navy petty Officer,i have been sailing all my life but have never been on a long trip before,i am at the moment planning a trip from our home town down to the Med and then over the Atlantic to the West Indies, upon arrival there we will consider our options ,ie shall we sail home or shall we take a trip through the panama canal and do the Pacific, its very exciting times right now for us and we look forwards to getting out there on our journey,

Regards and cheers Chris & Berit

Welcome aboard Chris and Berit - good to have you here among this very international "crew".

Make yourself at home - the drinks are on "Nausikaa" this week.

Welcome, Chris and Berit,

And here I am, complaining about how cold it is here in North Carolina, at 34* 24' N!

If you haven't been to the W. Indies yet, it's worth spending a winter there. Lots and lots and lots of sun. Whatever your plans, though, just being out sailing is, for many of us, an end in itself.

Fair winds,

Jeanne
