Hi everyone Firstly what an awsome site! Very welcoming and user friendly.

A little bit about myself

I'm a 22 year old South African, who's main aim at the moment is to just build up as much knowledge about ocean going vessels as possible.

I only started sailing 3 years ago, but through deliveries have built up +-thirty thousand miles on sailing boats, as dechand and first mate, and have been skippering a 57-foot motoryacht for the past year.

I feel there is something new to be learnt about the ocean everyday,and thus why i registered to this site. Hope to get to know alot of you, and absorb the knowledge!
