My name is Dan Kelly and I'm a filmmaker. I am planning to shoot a documentary movie around the Hawaiian islands this summer aboard the sloop 'Desire', captained by my friend Kai Schwarz. The trick is to get there - without riding a jet. So...
I'll be posting in the crew section and would appreciate any advice or tips about boats heading that way from the west coast of north america. I'll be traveling with a portable camera kit in a dry bag and combined with my personal gear it all fits in a largish duffel. I can embark anywhere in California, Washington or BC, Canada.
