I'm an old salt known as pcolajan. Currently and originally from St. Louis, MO. I race a flying scott on nearby lakes during the summer months and travel to the Gulf of Mexico to do some cruising with friends in the winter. Also go to the great lakes in August when it is too hot and no wind at the lake and there I sail with more friends. I retired last May and am working on improving my nav skills in hopes of doing more blue water cruising in the next two or three years. Sooooooo if anyone is looking for crew with a bit of experience please know I am anxious to sail in warm waters!

im new too. i too have also sailed a flying scot, though as a kid in camp. the North Carolina coastal area. some limited scorpion/sunfish experience, some day sailing in larger vessals...no blue water yet, but i have a plan and a dream due to unforeseen events that put me in this position. anyway hi all. more about my dream in that other thread where the guy has served his 2 week notice before buying the boat.
