Hi, we are french people, quite new in sailing and enjoying it a lot. We are retired and so had the chance to spend 5 months on board our sailing boat this summer on the mediterranean sea. We are looking forward to meeting new people from abroad to chat and exchanging a lot of things.

A hearty welcome aboard to you. We are happy that you have joined this friendly crew and we we hope to hear all about your cruising in your retirement.

Make youself at home - the wine is on "Nausikaa" today.

Hi and thanks for welcoming us !

My name is Rose-Marie and Georges is my husband. I had a look at your profile and I read that Melanie would enjoy to chat with other ladies. If she does not mind me being a new sailor I would be very happy to have the chance to chat with her. Of course my english is not perfect but I think I can manage. The only problem is that it seems I can't access "live chat".

I am 56 years old and Georges is 57. Georges started sailing just last year ( I learned how to sail when I was very young and it was on little boats - now we have quite a nice sailing boat - 12 metres or 38 feet). We met already very nice and interesting people thanks to Sweet Melody which is of course the name of our sailing boat. Well, I guess I'll stop for now and hope to hear from both of you and other sailors of course

Thanks again for welcoming the "froggies" (is it the right word ?)

I can also send you nice baguettes

Gladly!

Let me introduce you to my favourite grape and a speciality of South Africa - the pinotage. For a description of the abilities of this great grape, see the attachment.

Welcome Rose-Marie and Georges,

Lovely plans - I welcome you also to the site and if you are still in the Med in 2010 then keep in touch, as we aim to return that spring.

Cheers

John
