Hi All,

I am a real newbie at this. At 56, for some strange reason, I got the bug to go do long range cruises. So I have joined the local power squadron here and taking classes.

I am mainly interested in trawlers but when I finally get my sea legs we will have to see where it goes.

Right now I am just a sponge, soaking up all I can learn and I see these forums as a very good source for this.

Bill

Welcome aboard Bill - good to have you here.

Make yourself at home - we're a friendly, very international boating community.

Hey Bill....it matters not your age....and trawlers are fine....in fact, we love them......but of course, sailing is where it's at!

Enjoy your courses.....living and cruising.....there is nothing like it...!!

Hello Bill, Welcome aboard. Trawlers are nice ..but you can't beat having lots of string to play with..
