Default So me and my dad went and bought our first boat

Just a small note. Sailing isn't difficult but start with someone who knows how. Invite a sailor to go with you. A single day and you would be comfortable and sailing like a pro.
Still it was a great experience you shared with your dad. You can't put a price on that. A few hours on the lake and you made a lifetime of memories. Thanks for sharing this very fun video. I enjoyed it immensely. Hope you make another.

Well done! As they say, the more mistakes you make today, the less you will make tomorrow. I echo Spike's sentiments. Sailing is not difficult and will become easier with practice. It looks like a nice little boat and should provide you both with many great adventures.

Keep us informed and if there is anything you need to ask about sailing, don't hesitate to ask. There's a lot of experienced people on this site...many of them started the same way as you did.
